The 8100 Series electro-mechanical swing door operator is engineered to automate swing doors in high traffic situations. Designed to meet market demands for dependability, low noise, and application flexibility, the 8100 Series operator can successfully automate swinging door in hospitals, supermarkets, and airports, as well as dock doors, with smooth trouble free operation. As part of it’s unique software platform, the 8100 can also be programmed to be utilized as a low energy operator to comply with ANSI 156.19.
Alternate Configurations
- 8200 Series: Built with the same inner workings as the heavy duty 8100 series, but comes with a squared header to match desired site lines in high traffic situations.
- 8600 Series: Overhead concealed version of the 8100 where the operator is mounted between the door frame with a concealed arm. Provides for an aesthetically pleasing yet functional opening for high traffic locations. The 8600 Series is used on center pivoted doors only. Can be purchased as operator only or with a door package. The overhead concealed door package comes with the 8100 series operator, medium stile, 10″ bottom rails, center pivoted aluminum door panel, standared 1 3/4″ x 4 1/2″ jambs, cylinder and lock, push bar, offset-pull handle, finger guards and threshold.
- 8700 Series: Overhead concealed version of the 8100 that can be used on offset or butt hinge applications. Provides attractive aesthetics as well as the durable performance of the 8100. The 8700 is supplied with a continuous hinge gear only.

Low energy operators meet the requirement of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). They allow for easy access for disabled individuals by using push plates or other activation devices.
